Misdirected Though It Might Be, It Is Still a Passion- My Twisted View of a Twisted World

Blog EntryJul 24, '09 10:55 PM
for everyone

By now you know my strategy.

1) I show you the best people who you may not be aware of to give you an example what to do.

2) I show you the worst  people who you may not be aware of to give you an example what not to do.

3) Whenever possible I provide video/ audio to make the augment the impact of reading this stuff.

4) I hope I get you thinking a lot of what could be, what might be. Then you are so deep in though  you forget I am so mediocre.

I apologize for the title but it's true. I doubt anyone who does not follow college football really understands what kind of scrutiny and pressure comes with being THE quarterback in a big time school. Sometimes all that attention and praise brings about a sense of entitlement in an individual. NOT this guy.

I won't give you too much writing today. Just click the links in different colored print in the teasers below. :

In this blog article I am giving you the chance to hear him talk about it. MP 3 Attachment is below in multiply or click here.

Find out how he should have been aborted       Click

Find out how yesterday a reporter asked him if he was a virgin and how he handled himself.  Click

Listen to how ESPN talks about him and hear him interviewed by Dan Patrick    below in Multiply or Click

Find out how some Filipinos who don't know anything about football pretend to know just to suck up.  Click     ex. grab headlines???

Find out how he insists on talking to prisoners in death row (about to be executed ) and why he does it. Click

And of course the circumcisions which is just part of his overall outreach    Click

No matter how you slice it. The example of Tim Tebow and Myron  Rolle are stories you should tell your kids how good human beings can be. Just don't tell them it was I who told you.

This is false advertising. I didn't see a single reference to a mohel anywhere here. You own me 3 mins of my life back, bucko!!!!
cornholiogogs wrote on Jul 25, '09
I googled that and I still have no idea what you mean

this ain't tin-friendly... ^_^

in what sense ? Maybe it's a misunderstanding or something I overlooked
doughboy777 wrote on Jul 25, '09
The mohel is specially trained and a specialist in circumcisions and the rituals surrounding the procedure. Traditionally, the mohel uses a knife to circumcise the newborn; glass was never used. Today, doctors and some non-Orthodox mohels use a clamp before they cut the skin. The clamp makes it easier to be precise and shortens the recovery time. Oy!!!

weird how it did not show up in Google . BTW tonight (Saturday) for the first time since that Saturday you arrived here. I ate in the same complex where you and I ate right before working stiff. The Texas BBQ place. Not there specifically but place underneath. Weird how we did not document that meal

I wonder if our hearty beef dishes were carved skillfully by one of their expert mohels.

what's tin-friendly?
Based on my perspective (and that's really the one I have) . I can easily understand males feeling "touchy" about the idea of anything sharp coming in contact with that area of our anatomy. Take away that the only thing left in this piece is college football. If you listened to the Kuselias treatment he admired Tebow receiving a question that would make most people "pikon" and answering it in a very straight forward way. Anyway Tin is always welcome to declare her objection if she indeed has one or two. Although that would have never been my intent. Just highlighting what a dude this guy is.

when its just football I post a disclaimer. But this guy spends his free time in Mindanao near the battle zone doing God's work. And the point is he is a down right celebrity in the US.

oh really? wow... at least his putting himself to good use
cornholiogogs wrote on Jul 28, '09
that's my point. He has his values and priorities correct and somehow he is still a major celeb. He won the Heisman last year. Only one winner a year. The last time anybody won two was the mid 70s. He just might win again, let's see. And he comes here in a place most Filipinos will not go to (battle zone Mindanao) and still do work in an orphanage. he is not doing it for the attention.

this is a great link about Tebow visiting Death Row. If this does not make you feel something. I don't know what will.

yeap. and to just reiterate here so it can be read by everyone, good thing media doesn't do overrated interviews and stuff about him. he went by without it all this time and that would (like i've said in the email) taint his good intentions

yes he did. Here. Not there where he is a celebrated athlete. I recommend anyone to listen to his interview and he talks about using his fame as a tool to do what he really wants to do and spread the Word.
